I decided to finally try Tulie after it was recommended to me a few months ago. It is next to TRIO, near 9th and 9th in SLC. I decided to try a few things to ... you know make the trip worth it :) I got a lemon tart, chocolate mousse, and key lime pie round. They were all delicious...and I even let Dave have a bite. It was pricey but really tasty; I can't wait to try more of their scrumptious morsels.

Sailing at Jordanelle

Friday we went sailing on Jordanelle with my family. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend the evening.

Out of the Ordinary

Last night was OUT of the ORDINARY. When I got home from work Dave was already home sleeping since he was on call the night before. When he got up he wanted to go to a GOLF STORE so we headed over to one and then grabbed A BITE TO EAT and went to NIBLEY PARK to hit some balls. Now I know which fingers to cross, where my "V's" point and to swing like a pendulum :) It was nice to be out mid-week doing something TOGETHER, it was out of the ordinary for us.

Lemon Icecream: from Southern Living

6 C. Fat Free Half & Half

2 1/2 C. Sugar

1/8 tsp. Salt

3/4 C. Fresh Squeezed lemon juice (5-6 lemons)

1 TBSP. Lemon Zest

Mix all 5 ingredients in a bowl and then pour into icecream maker and finish according to machine's instructions. (I have a cuisinart that has a bowl attachment that I freeze, then pour in the mixture, it mixes for 30 minutes, then I pour into a container and let it freeze for about 45 more minutes before serving...if you can wait that long :)

Kendrick Family Reunion

I got to see my cute nephew Drew at our family reunion and my new name is Nanie, and I love it! Ignore how nasty I look in these pictures but look how cute my sis and nephew are!
